New BI Forecasting Tool: Predictive Business Objects Workbench
Business Objects, a subsidiary of SAP AG, has released a new product in the market, the data mining and predictive analytics into the business intelligence platform called Business Objects XI 3.0.
The Business Objects Predictive Workbench will help companies on the basis of its existing business data patterns or structures to analyze and influence factors for business to identify trends. Based on the data-mining technology to models for forecasting and simulations designed, the models will help companies, specific objectives such as sales and price optimization, improved operations, higher market agility or a better competitive position.
The combination of Business Objects Predictive Workbench with Business Objects XI 3.0 is fully scalable, customizable and offers features like a selection of algorithms, point-and-click visualizations, analysis options, advanced Predictive Analytics functions as well as tools for queries, reporting and Analysis.
The integration of SPSS functions in the BI platform also offers the possibility of data across heterogeneous IT systems across query. This is a semantic layer and it is available, as a metadata from various data sources.
