Belkin's TuneBase FM Brings Radio Listening Back In Vogue



Belkin, a provider of connectivity solutions, has unveiled TuneBase FM (F8Z176qe) for iPod, in India. The TuneBase FM is a compact FM transmitter that plays, powers, and mounts an iPod in the car.

Equipped with ClearScan technology, Belkin TuneBase FM helps ease the frustration of manually finding a clear FM frequency by automatically doing it for users. It claims to quickly scan and find the best FM frequency to play music from with one push of a button. A built-in transmitter wirelessly connects to car stereo on multiple FM channels while improved FM transmission delivers crystal clear audio performance to the iPod.

"Apart from being a classic style statement, Belkin TuneBase FM brings radio listening back in vogue", said Mr. Madhu Joshi, Business Development Director, India, Belkin. “An award winning provider of iPod accessories, Belkin now provides you the opportunity to listen to your iPod on the Go and your favorite music is just a touch of a button away," he added.

The TuneBase FM from Belkin comes along with an integrated auto power charger that enables charging the iPod even while traveling. Besides, an innovative swivel cradle with an integrated antenna is bundled with the TuneBase FM.

Compatible with iPod nano 3G, iPod classic, iPod touch and other iPod models, Belkin TuneBase FM (F8Z176qe) offers: pro-setting that optimises audio and boosts volume; transmits audio wirelessly on multiple FM channels from 88.1MHz – 107.9MHz; and multiple cradles that fit any docking iPod.

It is available in the Indian market for a price of Rs 5,499.
