In a recent announcement Zend Technologies, the PHP company, said that it has landed a commitment for up to USD 7 million through a new investment from Menlo Park-based TriplePoint Capital. Zend said that it would use the funds as needed, taking advantage of market expansion opportunities as they arise.
“We wanted to ensure that we continue our expansion and are therefore pleased to begin this partnership with TriplePoint Capital, a firm whose innovative approach closely aligns with our strategies in the web application market,” said Harold Goldberg, CEO at Zend Technologies.
Zend makes software that maintains and supports commercial PHP applications. Its last round of funding, for USD 20 million, was raised in 2006.
